So Hi!
I'm Faith and this is my blog.
Blogs are weird and self indulgent and airingdirtylineninpublicesque but I want one and so I will have one. That's how I roll.
So the blog title?
I'd like to say that its something deep and meaningful but actually I did a google search for quotes about faith because I wanted my name in the blog title.
At first I wanted "faith and trust and pixie dust" which is from Peter Pan but it was already taken so I took this one which is by the same author but from a different book - J.M. Barry The White Bird. I will endevour to read it post haste!
However, depsite the discloure above it does in fact mean something to me afterall. The full quote is "The reason birds can fly and we can't is simply because they have perfect faith, for to have faith is to have wings.”
Now I'm not sure how much truth is in that statement and I'm not suggesting we all test the theory, even with perfect faith, but I want to challenge myself to have a more perfect faith this year. Faith in me, God and the universe. And as a result of that the plan is that Faith is to have wings. For me that means freedom. Freedom from what? Let's wait and see.
p.s. I'm watching Top Gun while writing this and its making me feel all kinds of special.
